Visit the Legal Aid training website for more information and training materials. This is the Client and Cost Management System (CCMS) and all civil cases are managed through this system. The Legal Aid Agency (LAA) has online ways of working for civil and family certificated legal aid work, involving the creation of a digital systems for providers and counsel. You’ll be confident navigating around the different sections of CCMS and understand the language used when talking about applications in CCMS terms. Also, how you use online communications as we move into a digital future. At the end of the session you’ll know which sections to complete when you are making a new application. This module covers the core functionality of CCMS at a basic level. The class focuses on how we (the LAA) and you (Providers) work together digitally. If you haven’t yet used CCMS or have only made a handful of applications, then this module is an excellent starting point. This is an introductory session specifically for the beginner user.
